Hot air gun
Generates hot airflow to heat solder into a molten state for soldering, desoldering, heat shrinkage, component removal and preheating work.
Suitable for SOIC, CHIP, QFP, PLCC, BGA, SMD and mobile phone wiring/base repair. It can also be used for drying, paint removal, adhesion removal, thawing and glue welding.
Soldering iron
Transfers heat through the soldering tip to melt solder for soldering and desoldering electronic components.
Best for small solder joints, pads and thinner welding materials. For larger joints, match a larger tip or use hot air support.
Soldering iron hibernation
The soldering iron has a fixed 10-minute hibernation function when it is not in use.
This helps reduce unnecessary heating time and supports safer daily bench operation.
